BIOGRAPHY.
| BIOGRAFIE
In her artistic practice, Sheila Verseck explores the relationship between humans and nature, with a particular focus on animals in urban environments. Through sculptures made of ceramic, resin, plaster, and bronze, she examines urbanization, coexistence, and the boundaries between human and animal habitats.
Sheila Verseck (born 1992 in Berlin) is a mixed-media artist and sculptor. After graduating in design from Mediadesign Hochschule in 2015, she worked as a 3D artist on projects in the fields of gaming and architectural visualization. Alongside her professional work, she deepened her knowledge of anatomy through several multi-week workshops in Nevada, USA, between 2017 and 2022. In 2023, she returned as an assistant teacher, teaching feline and canine anatomy.
From 2021 to 2026, she studied art and English education at the University of Potsdam. Since 2023, she has also been teaching courses in artistic anatomy and sculpting at adult education centers and various artists’ studios.

In ihrer künstlerischen Praxis untersucht Sheila Verseck die Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Natur, mit besonderem Fokus auf Tiere im urbanen Raum. In Skulpturen aus Keramik, Harz, Gips und Bronze thematisiert sie Urbanisierung, Koexistenz und die Grenzen zwischen menschlichen und tierischen Lebenswelten.
Sheila Verseck (*1992, Berlin) ist Mixed-Media-Künstlerin und Bildhauerin. Nach ihrem Designabschluss an der Mediadesign Hochschule im Jahr 2015 war sie als 3D-Künstlerin in den Bereichen Games und Architekturvisualisierung tätig. Parallel dazu vertiefte sie ihre Kenntnisse der Künstleranatomie in mehrwöchigen Workshops in Nevada, USA, an denen sie zwischen 2017 und 2022 teilnahm. 2023 kehrte sie als Assistant Teacher zurück und unterrichtete dort Kurse zur Anatomie von Katzen und Hunden.
Von 2021 bis 2026 studierte sie Kunst und Englisch für das Lehramt an der Universität Potsdam. Seit 2023 gibt sie selbst Kurse zur Künstleranatomie und zum Modellieren an Volkshochschulen und in verschiedenen Künstlerateliers.
